Nelson Keene (* in Farnborough , Hampshire ; actually Malcolm Holland ) is a former British singer.
Keene was looked after by the well-known music manager Larry Parnes , who signed him to the record label HMV . The greatest success of his career was in August 1960 when he hit the UK charts with a cover version of The Safaris' ballad Image of a Girl .
He couldn't repeat this success with any more of his own songs.
