NemKonto

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Denmark , all payments from the state to natural and legal persons are only processed via a NemKonto , also known as an Easy Account . This is to facilitate electronic processing for authorities and prevent fraud .

The NemKonto is compulsory for all citizens, companies and associations. Because almost everyone receives money from the state, e.g. B. child benefit , pension , income tax repayments , student loans , unemployment benefit , VAT refunds for companies .

It was passed by parliament at the end of 2003 and introduced in August 2005 and should save 100 million Danish kroner (13 million euros) a year.

The NemKonto is a normal bank account , for private individuals mostly the salary account . It is the only one called to the state for payments. The social security number (CRP number) for natural persons and the commercial register number (CVR number) for legal persons are compared.

Withdrawals from private companies

In mid-2007, private companies were allowed to use the NemKonto for payments to customers, employees, etc. To do this, the company must have authorization to process social security numbers, e.g. B. (Pension) insurance, and inform the recipient in advance that he will receive payments to the NemKonto in the future. The recipient can, however, object.
