Nemesius of Alexandria
According to legend, Nemesius of Alexandria ( ancient Greek Νεμέσιος Nemésios ; † around 250 AD) was a martyr under Emperor Decius . Legend has it that he was charged with theft and shortly thereafter charged with his Christian faith, tortured twice and burned alive between two criminals.
His festival is celebrated on December 19 and September 9, respectively.
