Nemesius of Rome

Nemesius of Rome († after 250 or 307 AD) was venerated as a martyr in Rome . The assignment is legendary. In the 7th century his tomb was venerated on the Via Latina . Legends say that he was baptized and ordained a deacon by Bishop Stephan and that he later suffered martyrdom with his blind daughter Lucilla .
