Nemuno žiedas
Katsergiene , also known as Nemuno Žiedas (Nemuno Ring), is the only permanent race track in Lithuania , in the town of Kačerginė , Kaunas district .
Location and history
The Nemuno Ring is located near Kaunas , about 100 kilometers west of the capital Vilnius . The original circuit was built in 1960 and renovated in 2003. The 3350 meter long track with 10 curves is currently only used for the Lithuanian and Baltic touring car championships.
There are also driving courses for everyone with cars and motorcycles and drift training on a separate oval course. The circuit can be extended to over seven kilometers by connecting the nearby public roads and is then used for rally special tests.
