Nene Adams
Nene Adams (born October 12, 1966 ; died October 3, 2015 in Sneek , the Netherlands ) was an American writer. She lived with her partner Corrie Kuipers in Sneek, the Netherlands.
She began her work with fanfiction from the Xena universe, but soon went on to create her own characters. These characters are only partially reminiscent of the characters in the television series.
The theme of her works are love stories between women, with one of the protagonists usually portrayed as combative with a dark past, while the other is rather naive and innocent. In this respect, the background in Xena can be clearly seen.
All stories were initially published online, several works have since been published in revised and expanded form as books.
Nene Adams died on October 3, 2015 of complications from kidney disease.
