NetBAU is a software for creating tenders, awarding and billing (AVA) of construction works. The software is used by architects, engineers and building planners in cities and municipalities, companies in the construction industry, universities and television broadcasters. The software is compatible with all Microsoft Office products up to the 64-bit version and has editable print views. The design of the surface of NetBau is based on the Microsoft Surface.

history

Even under DOS operating systems it was possible to insert sketches in the text. The first AVA software that ran under Windows appeared on the market in the early 1990s under the name WinAVA. In 1999 WinAVA was replaced by the NetBAU software. Netbau was the first construction software on the market with an undo function. Entries can be undone in all modules regardless of the sequence. The SIDOUN Globe product was developed in 2012 and is the current construction software from SIDOUN International today.

In 2006, WinAVA / NetBAU was named as the three AVA standard applications in a Vieweg textbook on construction management, together with ARRIBA from RIB and Allright from Nemetschek .

Product description and functionality

The AVA software NetBAU maps the areas of tendering, awarding, billing, cost management, price comparison, building model, invoice journal and the integrated cost catalog according to DIN 276 in one program. Any number of individual cost accounts (e.g. AKS) can be set up on request parallel to the DIN 276 standards. The individual work processes are optimized in that relevant data is entered once and used in all views.

The software covers the entire planning process in all service phases of the fee schedule for architects and engineers (HOAI). NetBAU contains all common currencies and can therefore be used for international projects. A key currency can be defined for a project. NetBAU is multilingual in its operation .

Customization and interfaces

Due to the .NET programming language, the software is flexible in its nature and can be adapted to special customer requests and needs. For example, existing print templates can be expanded and existing properties of table fields can be changed. The software enables freely programmable input checking as well as the definition of filters and screen surface. The individual modules are characterized by individual table fields and arithmetic fields. In NetBAU you can also export your own print masks, text templates and variables.

Interfaces exist to:

  • GAEB (90, 2000, XML) D81, 83, 84, 85, 86 with GAEB Toolbox 3.11 from MWM,
  • REB DA11 / DA12
  • Datanorm
  • Excel / Word
  • STLB / STLB-Bau / STLK / Sirados / Heinze
