SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio
The SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS) from SAP is an Eclipse- based integrated development environment (IDE). This allows Web Dynpro and J2EE applications to be created as Java EE-compliant applications that are used on SAP's Java EE NetWeaver Application Server .
The IDE integrates both Java technologies ( J2SE , J2EE , XML , ...) and SAP technologies (Web Dynpro, Java Dictionary , ...). Many plug-ins from the Web Toolkit project are used and the IDE has been enhanced with proprietary extensions from SAP. NWDS also integrates the client component in order to access a NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI).
The applications can be developed, built, deployed and executed from the development environment.
