Network projector

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A network projector (or network beamer ) is a device for projection with the possibility of direct connection to computer networks. The function that is established via this network connection differs depending on the manufacturer and ranges from a simple remote control to the transfer of complete presentations.

With the help of so-called projector servers, non-network-compatible projectors can also be addressed indirectly via a network. To do this, the server is connected to the network and the projector is connected to the projector server via the graphics connection (e.g. via VGA , DVI , HDMI , etc.).
