Neudeckerhof

The Neudeckerhof is a building at the address Hackhofergasse 1 in Nussdorf , a district part of the 19th Vienna district Döbling and is a listed building.

history

The farm was built in 1577. In 1683 the Neudeckerhof was probably damaged in the Battle of Kahlenberg during the second Turkish siege of Vienna . As can be seen from the dating of a roof beam, the building was renovated and expanded in 1684. The farm once belonged to the Dominicans.

As Nussdorf became more popular as a wine region, the area around Neudeckerhof soon became a destination for the Viennese during the monarchy. Before 1901, the building came into the possession of the Lerch family and became known as the Gasthaus zur Drei Adler. In the 20th century the Neudeckerhof was used differently economically and was a furniture store in the late 1990s. At the turn of the millennium, the building was renovated, revitalized and expanded as a business center. The building has housed several offices since 2010 and is managed as the Neudeckerhof office center. The building itself is privately owned.
