The New Jewish Cemetery Frankfurt (Oder) is located on the Südring in the independent Brandenburg city ​​of Frankfurt (Oder) . On the 2800 m² area to the west, right next to the main cemetery, there is space for 250 grave fields.

history

Since 1998 there has been a Jewish community again following the immigration of Jews from the areas of the former Soviet Union to Frankfurt (Oder) . In 2017 it had more than 240 members. The new Jewish cemetery was inaugurated on June 27, 2011 on the Südring. At the end of October 2011, property damage and graffiti were found in the cemetery.

Old Jewish Cemetery

The old Jewish cemetery of Frankfurt (Oder), east of the Oder , is located today on the territory of the Polish city ​​of Słubice in the Lubusz Voivodeship (see Słubice Jewish Cemetery ).
