The 73 hectare new Jewish cemetery or Le cimetière Bellevue is located in Luxembourg 's Limpertsberg district on Rue des Cerisiers. After the cemetery in Clausen was fully occupied, the new cemetery was laid out in 1883. The first burial took place in 1884. Over the years the cemetery has been expanded several times and is still in use today. It is the largest Jewish cemetery in Luxembourg .

In 1961 the cemetery and its maintenance were taken over by the city administration.
In the cemetery is the grave of the Oppenheim family with a plaque for the painter Guido Oppenheim, who died in the Theresienstadt concentration camp .
