The recent Scandinavian studies is a field of Scandinavian Studies , which deals with the literature and culture of Scandinavia since the Reformation. Objects of recent Scandinavian studies are Scandinavian literary history , literary theory , literary reception and, to some extent, cultural history .
The modern Scandinavian languages are Swedish , Danish , Norwegian , Icelandic, and Faroese . In addition, Finnish is offered at some institutes of Scandinavian Studies .
