Neugut Viaduct
The Neugut Viaduct is a 920 meter long railway bridge in Dübendorf and Wallisellen near Zurich . The bridge is part of the Zürich – Winterthur railway line (Zürichberglinie) and lies between the Stettbach tunnel and the Föhrlibuck tunnel . It has two lanes and is electrified at 15,000 volts 16⅔ Hertz.
The Neugut Viaduct - together with the Zürichberg and Hirschengraben tunnels as the centerpiece of the new Zurich S-Bahn - opened for scheduled traffic on May 27, 1990.
On the Neugut Viaduct, a two-lane connection branches off level-free in the direction of Dübendorf to the Glattthalbahn line Wallisellen – Uster . The Zürichberg tunnel is used by the lines S3, S5, S9, S11, S12 and S15 of the S-Bahn Zürich .
The bridge runs in the border area of Dübendorf and Wallisellen north of Stettbach . A 190 meter long section in the area of Neugutstrasse and the last 70 meters of the Neugut Viaduct are in the municipality of Wallisellen. The bridge crosses the Überlandstrasse, the Glatt , the Zwicky area, the Neugutstrasse, the Glattalbahn and the Glattthalbahn line .
