New Mexico State Route 14 ( NM 14 for short ) is a state route in the US state of New Mexico that runs in a north-south direction.
NM 14 begins on New Mexico State Route 589 in Santa Fe and ends near Albuquerque on Interstate 40 . Most of the Turquoise Trail , which is a National Scenic Byway , is via NM 14 and then via New Mexico State Route 536 .
