New structuralism

As New Structuralism (rare New structuralism ) refers to a research and development in the 1980s in the organizational research that, as in previous theoretical considerations, the structural conditions of organizations on the acquisition of status ( Status Attainment approach to blue and Duncan 1967) stresses of individuals . In addition to the human capital theory (cf. e.g. Becker 1964), the approach gives explanatory approaches to social inequality . New Structuralism was particularly shaped by the 1980 essay " Bringing the Firms Back in " by James N. Baron and William T. Bielby.
