Jeremy Blum and Andrew Spearin began developing a mod for the Source Engine called Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat . Andrew Spearin began developing the game in 2002 after gaining experience in the Canadian Army . The founder of the Red Orchestra Mod, Jeremy Blum, joined the small team with other Red Orchestra developers. The development studio was founded in 2010.
On August 13, 2020, New World Interactive was acquired by the Embracer Group .

Insurgency
Production of the first-person shooter began in 2011. The game is based on the Source Engine . After a year of development, the game was first seen on PAX Prime . Day of Infamy
Day of Infamy is a tactical multiplayer shooter set in World War II . Day of Infamy is also based on the Source Engine .
