The Newton Pepping (also New York Renette ) is a variety of the cultivated apple ( Malus domestica). The winter apple is yellow to yellow-green in color. Picked in October, the apple is ripe for consumption from November to April .
The variety belongs to the Renetten family and has small, firm, juicy fruits averaging around 7 cm in size. An average soil quality is sufficient for the tree (mostly half-trunk ) of medium growth, e.g. B. sandy-loamy soil.
The Newton Pepping comes from the USA (1759). Although related to the London Pepping or the Calville group, it is only slightly furrowed at the flower base.
