NextEra is a Czech music label .

The company was founded in 1989 in Prague by Kristian Kotarac and specializes in electronic music, especially ambient , film music and sound design , but also sells traditional dance music.

Well-known international musicians and sound designers such as Lustmord , Steve Roach and Klaus Wiese are under contract. The label was the first leading Czech independent record company and has done pioneering work in terms of ambient and sound design. NextEra is so far the only purely Czech record company that also represents and publishes international artists.
