The Neÿ von Pilis are a Hungarian noble family .

history

The ancestor of the family was Ferenc Neÿ, rector of the University of Budapest . He was raised to the nobility on June 13, 1887 with the predicate "de Pilis" . His wife was Angyalka Pilisy de Pilis. The surgeon Martin Ney is also said to have received a letter of nobility and coat of arms of identical blazon .

In silver with four wave beams red shields occupied blue tip , wherein on green bottom one of a left swept silver crescent excessive crane , holding in his right hand a stone; A crowned golden lion leaping towards the tip , holding a scimitar with a cross-guard in the raised right hand. Gem : three natural peacock feathers . Helmet covers : red-gold and blue-silver.
