from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Nibelungenviertel is a settlement in the Hermülheim district of Hürth .

The Nibelungenviertel lies between Luxemburger Strasse in the west, Rosellstrasse in the south, Krankenhausstrasse in the east and Kiebitzweg in the north, on the border with Efferen . The development is characterized by single-family houses with large gardens. Only one-story or two-story houses were built, although a correct development plan was not available. The settlement was built between 1960 and 1970. The settlement got its name because the streets were named after people from the Nibelungen saga. The name is also officially used by the city administration.
