Nicholas Chamberlain

Nicholas Chamberlain (born November 25, 1963 in Staines , Middlesex ) is an Anglican British Bishop .

Life

Chamberlain attended Christleton High School in Staines. He studied English and American literature at St Chad's College in Durham and then Anglican theology at Edinburgh Theological College. In 1991 he was ordained an Anglican Deacon at Durham Cathedral . He was ordained an Anglican Priest in the Parish of St Mary, Cockerton in the Anglican Diocese of Durham in 1992 . As a suffragan bishop, Chamberlain has been Bishop of Grantham since 2015. On November 19, 2015, he was ordained to succeed Tim Ellis as the Anglican Bishop of Grantham . Chamberlain lives with his partner.
