Nick Ponting
Nicholas "Nick" Ponting (born June 13, 1966 in London ) is an English badminton player .
Career
Nick Ponting took part in the Olympics in 1992 and 1996. 1992 lost it in the men's doubles with Dave Wright in round two and was thus 9th in the final bill. In 1996 he started doubles with Julian Robertson and finished 17th. In mixed with Joanne Wright , he was ninth at the 1996 Olympics. Ponting won the Welsh International and the English individual championships several times. He was also successful at the Austrian International, Canadian Open, Irish Open and the Scottish Open. At the World Cup in 1993 he won bronze in mixed, in 1994 he won the All England .
