Nicky Bomba
Nicky Bomba (real name Nicholas Caruana) (born September 7, 1963 in Malta ) is an Australian musician and was the drummer of the John Butler Trio .
Life
Nicky Bomba worked for a long time with bands from Africa and the Middle East and deepened his experience in reggae, ska and mento. Bomba has built a solid reputation for being involved in a number of projects, including the 30pce Melbourne Ska Orchestra and has played on John Butler's Sunrise over Sea . He also played with Hey Gringo and toured with Banana Oil (Jazz), Bustamento (Calypso / Mento), The Truth (Band) (Funk) and his own Bomba Band (Reggae / Funk). At the end of 2013 he left the JBT again.
Nicky Bomba is the brother of Mama Kin , who is married to John Butler .
