The Nicolás Correa SA is a listed Spanish machine tool manufacturer headquartered in Burgos . The company started manufacturing milling machines in 1947 with a workforce of 12. Today, Correa mainly builds large bed milling machines and portal milling machines in gantry design . The company has a fairly high export quota of around 90%, with the products being sold in over 20. Nicolás Correa owns several subsidiaries that supply electronic components or produce smaller milling machines, especially for less developed markets. According to its own information, Correa was the first European manufacturer to produce milling machines in bridge construction. In 1989 Correa went public on the Madrid Stock Exchange.
