Nicola Conte

Nicola Conte (* 1964 in Bari ) is an Italian DJ and music producer who became famous for creating an innovative variation on acid jazz . This is mainly a symbiosis of bossa nova themes and Italian film music from the 1960s.

In addition, Conte, who enjoyed a classical music education, is the head of a neo-acid jazz association, "The Fez collective", and of the record label "Schema Records".

The first album was called Jet Sounds , the included track Bossa per due became a worldwide success in the underground scene .
