Nicolaus Unicorn

Nicolaus Einhorn (* 1940 in Dresden ) is a German author and founder of the tape publisher S-Press.

life and work

Nikolaus Einhorn studied German, English, philosophy and education in Munich. Raoul Hausmann and John Cage are among his role models. Until 1979 he worked as a high school teacher and since 1981 as a gestalt therapist . At the same time, he made radio broadcasts on authors of acoustic literature from 1969 to 1984. In 1987 he took part in the acoustic poetry department at documenta 8 in Kassel.

In 1970 he co-founded S-Press Verlag for acoustic poetry and is working on building an archive for international acoustic poetry.
