history
Since the 2003/2004 season, this tournament has mostly been held on a weekend at the end of September. It is an important season preparation tournament and serves to determine the position shortly before the start of the championship. The winner's cup is a challenge cup donated by Governor Erwin Pröll . However, if a club wins the trophy three times, the trophy is finally owned by that team.
