Niggi Schoellkopf

Klaus Peter “Niggi” Schoellkopf (* 1930 in Basel ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ) and author .

Life

Schoellkopf is a businessman. From 1976 to 1988 he was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Basel-Stadt ; He was also a member of the Citizens Council of the City of Basel. He was a co-founder of the Fähri-Verein Basel . From 1985 to 2000 he was Master of the Rebhaus Society . With the Wettstai clique he was a drum major at the Basel Carnival for 50 years . In the mid-1990s, he was noticed by making xenophobic statements.
