Nikolai Wladimirowitsch Sujew ( Russian: Николай Владимирович Зуев , English transcription Nikolay Vladimirovich Zuyev ; born May 7, 1970 in Dnipropetrovsk , USSR ) is a Russian badminton player .

Career

Nikolai Sujew won his first national title in the USSR in 1989 and his first Russian title in 1993. Numerous other titles followed until 2005. At the 1996 Olympics, he was fifth in men's doubles and 17th in mixed and again 17th in mixed at Olympics 2004. In 2003 he won the men's doubles together with Nicholas Kidd at the Slovenian International and in 2005 together with Marina Yakusheva the mixed at the Swedish International Stockholm .
