F100

The Nikon F100 is a semi-professional analog SLR camera from the Japanese camera manufacturer Nikon and was produced from 1999 to 2006. It has electric motors for film transport and film rewinding. It detects the film speed automatically, but it can also be set manually. The camera belongs to the Nikon F series autofocus , but has more setting options than the Nikon F80 such as B. a diopter correction for the optical viewfinder. Like the Nikon F5, the F100 uses five autofocus points, three of which are cross-type. The measuring fields can be used automatically or in the individual field measurement. The preview button can be used to check the depth of field. As with the Nikon F80, however, exposure metering is carried out in 10 metering zones. The available exposure metering methods are 3D color matrix metering, center-weighted metering and spot metering. All lenses with the Nikon F bayonet can be connected to the F100. Full functionality (autofocus, 3D color exposure metering) can only be achieved with type D or G lenses. The Nikon F100 can take up to 4.5 images per second in continuous mode, and up to 5 images per second when using the additional battery pack MB 15.
