Nikos Chrysogelos ( Greek Νίκος Χρυσόγελος , born May 13, 1959 in Athens ) is a Greek chemist and politician of the Prasini green party . As a member of the green-ecological party Ikologi Prasini, he replaced Michalis Tremopoulos in the European Parliament on February 2, 2012 and was a member of the Greens / EFA group until 2014 .

Chrysogelos was vice chairman of the regional development committee ; Member of the delegation for relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo and deputy in the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety and in the delegation to the EU-Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee .
