The Nile University , Arabic جامعة النيل, DMG Ǧāmiʿat an-Nīl , English Nile University , is a private, not-for-profit university in the modern western district of El-Sheikh Zayed City of Cairo .

Research and teaching take place on the 51 hectare campus u. a. on computer science , biotechnology , microelectronics , nanoelectronics and nanotechnology . With a target ratio of 80 percent international to 20 percent local teachers, the language of instruction is English. In March 2010, 500 students were enrolled.
