Nina Liu

Nina Liu (* 15. June 1977 in Sydney ) is an in Germany living Australian actress of Chinese descent.

Life and accomplishments

Liu first appeared in a commercial for the Do The Right Thing campaign . She took on the role of Apple in the award-winning 1996 film Floating Life . From 1996 to 1998 she starred in the television series Heartbreak High . In 2002 she graduated from the Western Australian Academy Of Performing Arts after three years of study . In the fantasy film Warriors of Virtue: The Return to Tao from 2002, she played one of the bigger roles.

She made known the role of Chloe in the award-winning television series The Secret Life of Us . In the award-winning thriller Little Fish (2005), she starred opposite Cate Blanchett and Sam Neill . In the German film drama Year of the Dragon from 2012, she embodies the Vietnamese prostitute Huong in a leading role.

Nina Liu is married to a German and lives in Berlin .
