Nina Lykke (* 1965 in Trondheim , Norway ) is a Norwegian writer .

Life

Nina Lykke grew up in Oslo . After studying at the grafiske Højskole in the Danish capital Copenhagen , she moved back to Oslo and started working as a graphic designer in 1989. In the meantime she was a member of the editorial board of the feminist magazine Utflukt from 1997 to 2003 .

Lykke made her debut as a writer in 2010 with her short story collection Orgien, og andre fortellinger , which was nominated for the Norwegian Ungdommens kritikerpris ( youth critic award) that same year . She made her debut novel three years later with Oppløsningstendenser , which received just as much critical acclaim as her novel Nei og atter nei , published in 2016 . Both books for young people were nominated for the shortlist of the P2 listener's novel price . In 2014 she received the Bokhandelens forfatterstipend , the annual writer's grant from the Norwegian book trade. The novel Nei og atter nei was also translated into German under the title Aufruhr im Mittel Jahre .
