Nitcho

Nitchō ( Japanese 日 頂 ; * 1252 ; † 1317 ), also called Niccho or Iyo-bo , was a pupil of Nichiren and stepson of Toki Jonin , an important student and lay believer of Nichiren. He was a co-founder of the Ikegami Honmon-ji Temple and the founder of the Hongaku-ji Temple .

Due to Toki Jonin's recommendation, Nitcho became a student of Nichiren. Because of the family ties, both are associated with the Nakayama school of Nichiren Buddhism .
