The Noble Glacier is a small glacier on the south coast of King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located immediately north of the Flagstaff Glacier on the east side of the Keller Peninsula .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the British glaciologist Hugh MacAskill Noble (* 1934) from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey , who was stationed at Admiralty Bay in 1957 and carried out studies of the Flagstaff and neighboring Stenhouse glaciers .
