Visca Anchorage ( French Anse Visca ) is a side bay in the northwest of Martel Inlet in Admiralty Bay in the south of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands .
It was mapped during the Fifth French Antarctic Expedition (1908-1910) under the direction of Jean-Baptiste Charcot . Charcot named the anchorage (English: anchorage ) to his friend, Uruguayan doctor Pedro Francisco Visca (1840-1912).
