Noksak

A noksak (slingshot) is a handguard developed by the Inuit Labradors for throwing a spear . It is made from a kind of board and has been used since around 5000 BC. Was in use in North America. The wooden instrument has a recess for inserting the projectile, four openings for the fingers and a hole for the thumb of the spear thrower.
