Nolan amphorae are a smaller special form of the neck amphora . They were made around the time between 500 and 400 BC. Chr. Produced. In contrast to the neck amphorae, the less bulging amphora body is particularly striking. The Nolan amphora got its name due to the large number of specimens of this amphora genus found in the Lower Italian city of Nola and in the neighboring city of Capua and the wider area around both cities.
