Norðurfjörður is a small fjord in the West Fjords of Iceland .
The fjord is located on the east side of the Westfjords north of Trékyllisvík bay between Urðarnes and Krossnes . It extends almost 2 km into the country and is 1.3 km wide. Strandavegur (road 643) comes from the south at Hólmavík , circles the fjord and ends on its north bank on the headland Krossnes, which is known for its swimming pool. In this area the road is only partially paved. The small settlement in the fjord bears his name.
