Norbert Ehring (* 1937 or 1938 in Flensburg ) is a German amateur astronomer and asteroid discoverer.

Between 1997 and 1999 he discovered a total of five asteroids at his private observatory in the Brenig district of Bornheim .

Until his retirement, Norbert Ehring was a full-time air traffic controller.
