The North German Center for Sustainable Building (NZNB) is a competence and training center in Verden an der Aller for all matters relating to ecological building.

The North German Center for Sustainable Building GmbH was founded in 2012 to implement the overall project. The sole shareholder is the Ecological Center Verden e. V. .

financing

The project is a "lighthouse project" within the framework of the regional development concept of the district of Verden . It has been funded by the state of Lower Saxony with funds from the European Union amounting to 4.4 million euros since 2011 . The city and district of Verden, the Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank and the ecological center Verden also contribute to the financing.

Award

In 2015, the project was awarded the “Werkstatt N-Projekt” seal of quality by the German Council for Sustainable Development .
