Nordstadt (Limburg an der Lahn)

The Nordstadt is a settlement area in the core city of Limburg an der Lahn .

The residential area was built in the 1950s as a barracks settlement with very simple apartments to accommodate the city's homeless. In 1972 social work was set up there. The inclusion of Nordstadt in the urban development program Socially Integrative City was made in 2001 with the participation of the departments concerned in the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Transport and Regional Development .
