The Aschenschlaggraben is the one kilometer long, southeast and right source stream of the Reichertsgraben , a tributary of the Erlbach , near Spalt in the central Franconian districts of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen and Roth .

The ash ditch is created in the Spalter hill country south of the Reichelsberg ( 493  m above sea level ) at an altitude of 474  m above sea level. NN north of Fünfbronn and not far from the district road RH 6 . After a north-westerly run of around 1.1 kilometers, it flows at an altitude of 407  m above sea level. NN east of Kalbensteinberg with the Offenbrunngraben coming from the southwest .
