Norman L. Shutt (born November 9, 1929 ) is a retired British biathlete and cross-country skier .

Norman Shutt took part in the Winter Olympics in 1960 in Squaw Valley participate in two sports. In cross-country skiing he was 52 over 15 kilometers. In the biathlon competition, which was held for the first time, he took the last of the 30 places. With one hour and 45: 36.5 minutes he was almost five minutes behind the second best runner, his compatriot John Moore . Out of 20 possible targets, he only hit seven and thus got 26 penalty minutes added to the running time for 13 mistakes. In the overall standings he was almost 40 minutes behind the winner, Klas Lestander .
