Norman company

The Norman Company ( French Compagnie normande ) was a trading company founded by Richelieu in 1626 .

It is a link between the Dieppe and Rouen merchants who were responsible for developing Senegal and Gambia . It was dissolved in 1658 and its assets were bought up by the Compagnie du Cap-Vert et du Sénégal .
