Northern Discipline is a Finnish groove and thrash metal band from Järvenpää , which was founded in 1996.

history

The band was formed in 1996 after the members were inspired by Machine Head 's Burn My Eyes album . In 2003 the band released their self-titled EP, which was their first phonogram. In 2006, her debut album, Burn-Beaten Soil, followed . The follow-up album was recorded in their own band studio. The production manager and producer was the band guitarist Teemu Grönberg. The album was mixed by Pekka Laine in East Sound Studios . The album was mastered by Svante Forsbäck ( Chartmakers ). The album Harvest of Hate was released in 2011 through Inverse Records .

style

The band plays groove and thrash metal, with traces of hardcore punk also being audible. There are occasional solos interspersed with harmonic structures from Melodic Death Metal .
