Notburga Schiefermair

Notburga Schiefermair (born May 19, 1966 in Wels ) is an Austrian farmer , politician ( ÖVP ) and former member of the Austrian National Council .

education and profession

Schiefermair attended elementary and secondary school in Eferding from 1972 to 1980 and then moved to the Higher Federal School for Agriculture in Elmberg , where she passed her Matura in 1985. After attending the National Pedagogical Seminar for Agriculture and Forestry Education in Ober Sankt Veit from 1985 to 1986, Schiefermair also completed various certification courses.

Schiefermair has been a farmer since 1987 and was a home economics teacher in agricultural adult education between 1987 and 2002. Between 1999 and 2002 she was also a trainer.

politics

Schiefermair is a farmer's adviser to the Austrian Farmer's Union and was a member of the National Council between December 20, 2002 and October 29, 2006. She is running in the 2008 National Council election in fourth place in the regional constituency of Linz and the surrounding area.
