William Miller Ord
William Miller Ord ( September 23, 1834 - May 14, 1902 ) was a British medic . He was a surgeon at St. Thomas Hospital in London .
In 1879 he was the first to describe Ord thyroiditis (autoimmune thyroiditis types 1B and 2B), one of the two forms of Hashimoto's thyroiditis .
